{"id":2980,"date":"2022-08-05T08:06:42","date_gmt":"2022-08-05T08:06:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oceac.org\/?p=2980"},"modified":"2022-09-08T18:18:39","modified_gmt":"2022-09-08T18:18:39","slug":"the-project-for-the-fight-against-the-spread-of-hiv-aids-along-the-atlantic-coast-of-the-cemac-countries-pca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/oceac.org\/fr\/the-project-for-the-fight-against-the-spread-of-hiv-aids-along-the-atlantic-coast-of-the-cemac-countries-pca\/","title":{"rendered":"The Project for the Fight against the Spread of HIV\/AIDS along the Atlantic Coast of the CEMAC countries (PCA);"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Project&nbsp;objective:<br>To reduce the sexual transmission of HIV\/AIDS along the Atlantic Ocean coast of CEMAC countries<br>Strategic thrusts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Determination of the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices of the target groups on HIV\/AIDS;<\/li><li>Sensitization of target groups;<\/li><li>Establishment of social marketing for condoms;<\/li><li>Reinforcement of medico-psycho-social care capacities.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Within the framework of this project, there was development of a cooperation between the partners (IOM, AMS, COREP\/ECCAS, FAO, PAIBLT, IFCOC, CICOS, CGPL, RAP+ AC, MINEPIA\u2026) and OCEAC\ufffd;&nbsp;which resulted in the establishment of a collaboration platform called Inter-Agency Consultation Meeting (RCIA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last session of the RCIA, held in March 2010, enabled the development of terms of reference for the feasibility of a socio-epidemiological study for the establishment of a program to reduce the vulnerability of fishing communities and surrounding populations to STIs\/HIV\/AIDS and to strengthen their reproductive health, in Central Africa (for fishing) period 2012-2015).&nbsp;These ToRs were validated during a restricted meeting of the members of the RCIA.&nbsp;The fundraising process is underway for the start of the study.<\/p>\n<!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project&nbsp;objective:To reduce the sexual transmission of HIV\/AIDS along the Atlantic Ocean coast of CEMAC countriesStrategic thrusts Determination of the level of knowledge, attitudes and practices of the target groups on HIV\/AIDS; Sensitization of target groups; Establishment of social marketing for condoms; Reinforcement of medico-psycho-social care capacities.
